Yes indeed. When you have many mods I suggest you copy them back in bunches of 10 and then try the game. I know it could take a lot of time. Most probably because your anti-virus destroyed the crack. Hi umm, i downloaded the updater and i wanted to download the Base Game pack and its about 26GB and it downloads but when it says check your internet connection and try again it works until the last 1. When you re-start the Updater it quickly checks the already downloaded items and continues downloading the remaining parts.

About your custom music, have you read THIS? But I can only inculde custom content and there is nothing that says unknown content. What do I do? Please help,my gallery just comes up as people not houses and when you click on advanced it only comes up with the option include unnowned content!

I went to the lot to enter build mode, then bulldoze it, and open the gallery. Then I chose my downloaded house and I clicked "Place". However, a red bubble pops up and it says "System Error". This happens even when I try to place an unfurnished version.

I tried all the tips in the comments but I can't get it to work I installed it and it created an ISO file which windows happily opened on its own and made it into a DVD drive for whatever reason which I guess is right.
I tried to install it but it said no CD so I did all the steps in the comments and even downloaded a patch, still with "insert CD 4". There was no CD folder as far as I can see. I tried Dave's instructions and downloaded manual updates but I cannot install them in my sims folder as it says there is no more space so I can't install it and override the patches. Now that your game is patched and you've got a proper extraction tool on your computer, it's time to download some custom content or mods that you'd like to use in your game!
If you don't already have one in mind, I've written some articles on some great custom content sites and mods for the Sims 4. Feel free to browse those articles to find something of your liking!
Once you've found the content you want to add to your game, click on the download button on the website. If you're using Google Chrome as your Internet browser, you'll see the item downloading at the bottom of the screen.
Once it's done downloading, you can right-click on the little arrow, and then choose to go to the folder it's downloaded to. Typically, your downloaded items will go into your Downloads folder on your computer. Open up the Downloads folder and then right-click on the content you've just downloaded.
If you're using WinRar, you'll see an icon that looks like a stack of books. Click on the option that says, "Extract to mod name ". The file will then extract into a folder. Open up the folder and check the contents inside. Usually, you'll just see files that end with. This is the file-type used for Sims 4 mods and custom content. You might see some other file types too.
